Lead ServiceNow Developer
As a pivotal technical leader, you will deploy ServiceNow solutions for our clients. You will configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow applications to meet specific business requirements.
Your responsibilities include:
- Architectural Expertise: Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance ServiceNow solutions that meet immediate project needs and long-term business goals.
- Solution Configuration: Lead engagements with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow configurations.
- Business Acumen: Drive understanding of the business context in which the team is working. Align technical decisions with client's overarching goals and objectives.
- Technical Implementation: Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions, setting up workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and automation.
- Innovation: Encourage innovation within the development team, exploring new technologies, methodologies, and processes that can enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop ServiceNow configuration test plans and validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience.
- Data Migration: Develop and document data migration strategies and plans, leading data migration activities from legacy systems to ServiceNow.
- Integration Management: Design and document integration strategies and plans, leading the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications.
- User Training and Documentation: Design and provide end-user training to ensure smooth adoption of the implemented solution.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts, assisting users during transition periods, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
- Incident and Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
- Security and Compliance: Lead adherence to security best practices and ensure solutions meet relevant compliance requirements.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and practices in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Lead mentorship and guidance of junior developers.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and ensure successful completion of projects.
- Strategic Communication: Interact with executive stakeholders, explaining complex technical matters in a clear and non-technical manner.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate disagreements within the team and promote a positive team atmosphere.
- Corporate Growth: Contribute to business growth, leading the development of client roadmaps and solution demonstrations.
This position requires work in the United States. Required experiences and certifications include 14+ years of experience implementing IT solutions with at least 4 years of ServiceNow solutions, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Active Secret Clearance, and US citizenship due to federal contract requirements.
