ServiceNow Developer

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Location: McKinney, TX (On-site - Minimum 4 days/week) Long term contract / No C2C Department: IT Service Management

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team in McKinney, TX. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JavaScript, strong experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in Telecom Service Management is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and configure ServiceNow applications using JavaScript and ServiceNow’s development tools.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions aligned with ITSM best practices.
• Work on ServiceNow modules including but not limited to Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of ServiceNow applications.
• Provide support and troubleshooting expertise for existing ServiceNow implementations.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Very strong proficiency in JavaScript with hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Excellent articulation and communication skills – ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Proven ability to interpret and respond to customer requirements effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Telecom Service Management (TSM) or working on ServiceNow modules aligned with telecom operations.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS – ITSM, etc.) are a plus.
