Servicenow Expert Job Description Job Summary The Servicenow expert oversees the design, architecture, development, and maintenance of Servicenow solutions within the UT instance. This role leads technical planning and implementation of new features and collaborates with internal teams, main campus ITS, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure accuracy in development work. Responsibilities
- Designs and implements new applications, functionality and workflows.
- Provides daily operational support and system monitoring.
- Gathers and verifies requirements for new features, functionality and workflows.
- Troubleshoots and debugs functionality and workflows.
- Coordinates and collaborates with main campus Servicenow development team.
- Provides Tier 3 customer support.
- Updates documentation and design documents. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly and efficiently present ideas, status and issues to management stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and customer focus.
- Attention to detail.
- Initiative and the ability to set clear priorities. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with Servicenow and ITSM applications, including customization, customer support, ticket management, ITIL, scrum/agile development, business process automation and creating technical requirements.
- Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements from customers.
- Experience with ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
- Experience with scrum/agile development.
- Experience with business process automation. Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with UT Servicenow environment and other UT-specific processes and technologies.
