Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer – ITSM / CSM / CMDB

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise across ITSM, CSM, and CMDB modules. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and experience in implementing scalable, automated solutions to support enterprise IT operations and customer service workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Request), CSM (Case, Accounts, Contacts, SLAs), and CMDB (CI Class Models, Discovery, Reconciliation).
  • Build and customize workflows using Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
  • Develop custom integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Configure Discovery and Service Mapping, MID Server management, and troubleshoot CI accuracy.
  • Create and maintain data models, reconciliation rules, and health dashboards for CMDB governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimizations.
  • Maintain clear documentation of configurations and customizations.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including ITSM, CSM, and CMDB.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, UI actions.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow CMDB structure, data integrity, and relationships.
  • Experience with Discovery setup, probe and pattern customization, and CMDB health dashboards.
  • Familiarity with CSM data models, case workflows, customer portals, and virtual agents.
  • Solid experience in REST, SOAP API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ACLs, roles, and platform security.
  • ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator + Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM/CSM) (preferred).

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Service Portal, UI/UX customizations.
  • Knowledge of Performance Analytics, ATF, and IntegrationHub.
  • Exposure to AI Search, Virtual Agent, or Mobile Studio is a plus.
