Job Description:

This role involves working on the ServiceNow platform as a developer in an enterprise-wide, multi-tier production environment. About the Role

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience with ServiceNow and is responsible for configuring the Service Portal and custom widgets, implementing designer-provided user interfaces, and creating service catalog workflows with approvals. Key Responsibilities

• Configure and Customize the Service Portal: Develop and maintain the Service Portal and custom widgets to meet business requirements.
• Implement User Interfaces: Implement designer-provided user interfaces to enhance the overall user experience.
• Service Catalog Workflows: Create, monitor, modify, and publish service catalog workflows with approvals to ensure efficient processing.
• Maintain UI: Maintain the user interface on various pages of the portal by matching designs to provide a consistent user experience.
• Design and Configure Applications: Design, configure, and customize new applications and modules to meet business needs.
• Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting patch / release management issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Access Control Rules: Configure Access Control Rules to secure and provide the right access to users/roles.
• Custom Mobile Applets: Develop custom Mobile Applets with features like barcode scans, language translation for mobile, etc. Requirements
• ServiceNow Administration Certification: Possess a valid ServiceNow Administration certification.
• ServiceNow CIS and Tracks: Have knowledge of ServiceNow CIS (+various tracks) or be willing to acquire it.
• Basic ServiceNow Platform Knowledge: Have basic knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
• ITSM and CSM Process Knowledge: Possess basic ITSM & CSM process knowledge.
• Client & Server APIs, Script Includes: Understand Client & Server APIs, Script Includes, JavaScript, AJAX, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JSON, Agile Scrum.
• Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS: Be proficient with Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Relational Database Management Systems: Understand relational database management systems, stored procedures, queries.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Have basic reporting and dashboard knowledge. Soft Skills
• Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
