ServiceNow HAM Pro Engineer

Remote position

Contract through 12/20/24

Required Skills : MUST HAVE SERVICENOW EXPIERENCE AS A DEVELOPER/ENGINEER 3+ years' experience on the SERVICENOW PLATFORM with HAM PRO

Project:

We are rolling out a new ServiceNow Module and will need assistance with SN HAM PRO Module. This is an engineering/developer role on the ServiceNow Platform (Heavy on Development)

This Position will augment staff and do development work with HAM Pro .

Candidate will participate in Daily Scrums and work User Stories for HAM Pro

Responsibilities:

1. Attend Daily Scrum

2. Pick up user stories related to requirements given from Product Manager.

3. Attend Developer/Engineer meetings to collaborate on stories being worked to answer any questions or concerns on stories being worked b Developer/Engineers.

4. Based on the story, develop and code as needed or Engineer any SN components required in the User Story.

5. Include any ATF Scripts if it makes sense based on user story

6. Once completed with Story – move up from Dev to IT, UAT, Production. This will require acceptance testing by the Operations Team and/or the Product Managers.

7. Follow the story and support the life cycle from Development to Production.

8. Once story is complete, pick up another story to work. Most Devs/Engineers work 2-3 stories at any given time.

9. Rinse and repeat.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE SERVICENOW EXPIERENCE AS A DEVELOPER/ENGINEER

3+ years' experience on the SERVICENOW PLATFORM with HAM PRO and/or DISOCVERY/CMDB.

Some SAM Pro experience would be nice to have, but not required.

Must have experience:

• ServiceNow – Certified System Administrator

• Java script

• ServiceNow development/design

• Flow designer

• Business rules

• Script includes

• GlideRecord and how to build efficient queries

• Client scripting vs Server side

• AJAX

• ServiceNow HAM Pro – Developer/Engineer – Heavy on the Developer side.

• ServiceNow Discovery/CMDB Developer/Engineer - Heavy on the Developer side.

Nice to have:

• ServiceNow – Certified Application Developer.

• Experience of building ATF tests

• Understanding of Hardware Asset Management processes in HAM PRO

• Understanding of Procurement processes and how they create/update assets

• HTML / widgets

• ServiceNow CSDM Knowledge

• Agile Scrum and/or Kanban

• What does the interview process look like?

o How many rounds? 1 with manager and technical team.

o Video, phone, or in person? Video - Teams

o How technical will the interviews be? Very technical – these are Developer/Engineering positions.
