ServiceNow Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer for a 24+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential.

The role is based in Mclean, VA / Richmond, VA / Plano TX (Hybrid) and offers excellent employee benefits including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave. Main Responsibilities:

• Design and configure CMDB and discovery processes within ServiceNow.
• Implement ServiceNow Discovery to automatically detect and map IT assets.
• Develop workflows, business rules, and customizations on the ServiceNow platform.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using APIs and web services.
• Ensure CMDB data accuracy and consistency, collaborating with IT teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the ServiceNow environment. Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of CMDB management and Discovery implementation.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development (scripting, workflows, customizations).
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (SOAP/REST).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly Configuration Management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT.
• 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, focusing on CMDB and Discovery. About Our Client:
