Description
As a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist/Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of the ServiceNow platform in order to streamline business processes, enhance IT service management, and improve overall operational efficiency. you will be responsible for assessing client needs, designing, configuring, and implementing Jira and other Atlassian solutions to enhance project management, collaboration, and workflow processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality solutions within the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand process requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Design and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and more, to meet business needs.
- Customize and develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to automate processes and enhance user experience.
- Perform data integration tasks to connect ServiceNow with other systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into performance and trends.
- Participate in project planning, requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation phases.
- Perform testing and validation of configured solutions to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are free of defects.
- Provide end-user training and documentation to promote proper usage of the ServiceNow platform.
- Stay up to date with ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends to continually improve implementation processes.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the stability and scalability of the platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly), UI/UX design, and integration techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- ServiceNow certifications (such as Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
