Sr. ServiceNow Discovery Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with expertise in ServiceNow Discovery for a long-term contract opportunity. This position requires deep technical proficiency, hands-on implementation experience, and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow Discovery solutions
• Configure MID Servers, Probes, Sensors, and Patterns
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues
• Ensure complete and accurate configuration management database (CMDB) population
• Work with cross-functional teams to align discovery data with infrastructure management goals
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities and improvements

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in ServiceNow platform development and implementation
• Expertise in ServiceNow Discovery (Agent-based and Agentless)
• Experience with CMDB and ITOM modules
• Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and API integrations
• Strong background in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, applications)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Certifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery

Work Environment:

• Independent contributor with strong collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
