ServiceNow Specialist

About the Role

This position is responsible for developing, testing, and deploying updates to ServiceNow based on customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform and experience developing and integrating ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications.

You will use customer tools (i.e., AppDynamics, ServiceNow) to develop and maintain dashboards that display useful system monitoring information for leadership and end users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with ServiceNow System Engineers and developers to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
• Providing guidance to end users on how to make adjustments to system dashboards
• Using experience and data trends to determine what system monitoring information/metrics should be collected and displayed to add value to the end user
• Researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Minimum 16 years relevant experience or 18 years experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR Module, Customer Service Management (CSM), Asset Management, Change Management, Customer Development, etc.
• Proven significant success developing and integrating ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications
• LINUX scripting experience (Python, Java, Ruby, or .Net); working within the Linux CMD line
• Development experience in Cloud environment (Amazon Web Services)
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, and also work in a team environment
