Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow HAM (Hardware Asset Management) Process Consultant to define and implement best-in-class asset management processes based on industry standards and practical experience. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of HAM frameworks, lifecycle management, and IT asset governance, along with a strong background as a practitioner in defining, optimizing, and governing hardware asset management in large enterprises. ,,,,,,,,,, Key Responsibilities: Strategic Asset Management & Process Design: - Define and implement HAM processes aligned with ITIL, ISO 19770, and industry best practices. - Establish governance frameworks for effective lifecycle management of IT hardware assets. - Collaborate with stakeholders to design and optimize workflows for asset procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement. - Develop strategies for cost optimization, risk management, and compliance enforcement. - Standardize and document HAM policies, SOPs, and procedures across the organization. ServiceNow HAM Implementation & Optimization: - Leverage ServiceNow HAM module to automate and enhance asset tracking, reporting, and management. - Define data models and establish CMDB integration strategies for accurate asset visibility. - Configure and optimize Asset Repository, Discovery, and Reconciliation processes. - Work with ServiceNow Developers and Architects to customize HAM solutions as per business requirements. - Define automation rules for asset depreciation, compliance audits, and contract renewals. Lifecycle Management & Compliance: - Implement processes for end-to-end asset lifecycle tracking, including procurement, usage, refresh, and disposal. - Establish vendor and contract management best practices for asset purchasing and renewals. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.). - Conduct periodic audit assessments to validate data accuracy and enforce governance controls. Stakeholder Engagement & Training: - Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Security teams to align HAM with business objectives. - Develop executive-level reports and dashboards for asset utilization, cost savings, and risk assessments. - Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and process owners to ensure HAM best practices adoption. ,,,,,,,,,, Required Skills & Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM). - Strong expertise in ITIL, ISO 19770, and ITAM best practices. - Extensive experience in defining and implementing HAM processes at enterprise scale. - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM module and CMDB integration. - Knowledge of IT procurement, vendor management, asset depreciation, and contract renewals. - Strong understanding of hardware asset lifecycle management and compliance frameworks. - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Experience working with global teams and large enterprise environments. - ServiceNow HAM, ITIL, or IAITAM certifications (CAMP, CHAMP, CITAM) preferred.
