Senior ServiceNow Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team at Ascendion. As a key member of our engineering community, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions across our full-stack of development tools and technologies. Responsibilities:

• Develop ServiceNow CMDB and IT Asset Management modules: Partner with enterprise tools/systems to integrate as needed.
• Collaborate with Product Owners: Understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Improve Software Engineering Practices: Continuously enhance software engineering practices.
• Work within Agile Teams: Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
• Lead Craftsmanship and Solution Scalability: Ensure the availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Tech Trends: Experiment with new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other engineers.
• Foster Innovation and Teamwork: Encourage outside-the-box thinking, self-organization, and diversity. Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification
• At Least 8 Years of ServiceNow Development Experience Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience Leading Complex Initiatives:
• Strong Coding Skills:
• Solid Understanding of ServiceNow Platform Capabilities
• Proven Track Record of Introducing New Tools and Technologies
• Expert-Level Understanding of ServiceNow Platform Scripting
• Creating and Maintaining ServiceNow Objects
• ServiceNow Development Tools
• IT Asset Management and IT Operations Management Experience
• Workflow Development Experience
