ServiceNow CMDB Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to design, implement, and optimize the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) leveraging the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and best practices for data governance and service modeling.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design and implement a scalable CMDB architecture aligned with CSDM best practices.
• Define governance policies, data models, relationships, data flows between CI types, and integration strategies for CMDB accuracy and integrity.
• *Service Modeling & CSDM Implementation:

Establish CSDM-aligned data models to map business services, applications, and infrastructure components.

Ensure alignment of CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, and Asset Management processes.

• *CMDB Data Quality & Governance:**

Establish data governance frameworks to maintain data quality and integrity.

Define data validation, reconciliation, and normalization processes.

Implement data ownership, stewardship, and governance policies to maintain CMDB integrity.

• *Discovery & Integration Management:**

Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and third-party integrations.

Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, cloud, and security tools to ensure real-time data accuracy.
