Scope of Services

The DT Services team expects to support the following key areas during this program:

• ServiceNow CMDB Health
• Analyze the CMDB/AMDB and document findings and improvement opportunities.
• Document recommendations in agile story format as input to Customer backlog.
• Support remediation activities in alignment with best practices.
• Forescout Integration
• Prepare ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB for integration with Forescout eyeExtend module.
• Install and configure Forescout eyeExtend to continuously maintain the CMDB/AMDB.
• Client Device Order Management
• Assess and remediate the current state of the ServiceNow ITSM module to ensure system prerequisites are fit for purpose.
• Implement client device order components (request form, catalog) and workflow for approval and CMDB/AMDB reconciliation.

Responsibilities

This role requires leadership skills to bridge the gap between business requirements and technological capabilities. The successful candidate will ensure that ServiceNow solutions align with program objectives.

• Provides overall direction to bridge the gap between business requirements and technological capabilities.
• Leads technical teams to ensure scalability, flexibility, consistency, and security of technical solutions.
• Provides oversight on implementation phases ensuring alignment of business requirements to technical solutions.
• Customizes system components (workflows, scripts, interfaces, integrations).
• Identifies and resolves technical issues, educating and mentoring junior team members.
• Performs knowledge transfer to platform teams for custom solutions.
• Facilitates workshops to ensure target solutions align with ServiceNow processes, features, and business outcomes.
• Assists project teams in translating application functionality into application architecture and production of business functionality requirements objectives.
• Breaks down documented requirements into epics and decomposing them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Responsible for configuration and customization of technical solution tasks and activities driven by prioritized agile/scrum stories defined for each sprint.
• Develops and configures various areas of technical architecture including Service Portal/Employee Center, Service Catalog, Request, Change, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), and integrations.
• Designs, develops, and configures workflows, forms, scripts, and screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations underlying logic leveraging ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
• Designs technical solutions to address complex requirements, evaluating alternate solutions, identifying the best option, and implementing the solution.
