Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer

This role involves the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Key responsibilities include maintaining and improving service management processes, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Work with product owners and stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements.
• Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
• Perform operational administrative tasks, as needed.
• Assist with report configuration and maintenance, as needed.
• Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Design and develop ServiceNow forms and tables, as well as modules.
• Develop workflow and flow design where required to drive approvals and process lifecycles.
• Design, create, and configure business rules, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting of each.
• Design, create, and configure notifications, UI pages, UI macros, script includes, formatters, etc., in ServiceNow. Best Practices and Governance:
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, agency security guidelines, governance policies, and maintain a close-to-out-of-the-box environment.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification highly desired.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development of the listed modules.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow architecture and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting, and testing through multiple instances and into production.
• Demonstrated knowledge of service management processes, procedures, and software, including knowledge of ServiceNow. Education/Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
