**Job Title

  • ServiceNow Technical Lead / Senior Developer**
  • *Location: Vancouver willing to work from customer location 2/3 days a week**

  • *Job Summary**

We are seeking a ServiceNow Lead to join our global ServiceNow Platform team.

This role will partner with ServiceNow Product/Process, Business and Technical service owners to gather data and requirements for the services to be mapped and will work to ensure the network discovery tool is configured to collect the necessary data to maintain the service maps over time. The service maps will be used to enable a variety of operational excellence-related capabilities to improve the availability of most critical services and continuously improve the customer experience with each service.

  • *Key Responsibilities**

Plan, design, deploy, and manage ServiceNow Service Mapping solutions

Develop, manage, report and communicate on the performance of the Service Management processes through process management KPIs and metrics

Create and manage the Service Mapping infrastructure, including schedules, credentials, mid-servers and patterns

Create and maintain Service Mapping-related documentation including participation in ITSM Governance related items ensuring that Service Mapping is performing as expected

Ensure Service Mapping meets it requirements, including schedule scope, schedule completion and CMDB data population

Design, develop, and deploy new Service Mapping functionality

Define, create, and monitor Service Mapping health reports and dashboards

Identify, investigate and resolve Service Mapping issues in a timely manner

Keep Service Mapping aligned with other methods of populating the CMDB

Raise awareness and provide guidance to improve the understanding of Service Mapping and how it updates the CMDB, including training of key stakeholders

Ensure Service Mapping meets both the current and anticipated scope

Develop and maintain plans for both project and operational activities and provide project or operational briefings / updates as needed

Self-motivated to keep learning more about the ServiceNow platform, capabilities and best practices and apply/share them with teammates.

Be accountable to own and deliver the work assigned to you according to the timeline

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5 - years minimum’ experience directly with development in ServiceNow at either Architect or Technical Lead level

  • *Preferred qualifications include**: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Service Mapping

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Discovery

Experienced in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including customer requirement analysis and system design

Strong experience scripting using JavaScript, SQL, etc.

Ability to design and implement integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub and custom integration using REST API etc. to enrich CMDB

Hands-on experience with discovery of AWS and Azure cloud resources.

Ability to perform ServiceNow platform development using ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes and Security Rules

Highly effective teamwork and collaboration skills in a matrixed and global organization

Strong people interaction skills regardless of audience

Strong analytical and organizational skills coupled with attention to detail

Ability to juggle multiple tasks in parallel with an awareness for evolving prioritization

Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • *Salary**: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
