As a Senior Software Engineer for ServiceNow Development, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions that enhance our ServiceNow environment. Your expertise will help streamline operations, improve performance, and minimize technical debt in alignment with our product and technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to understand customer and end-user challenges and design effective solutions.
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance processes and technology while minimizing technical debt.
  • Anticipate capacity requirements for system components and identify potential limitations.
  • Contribute to story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning efforts.
  • Engage in product and solution design to solve complex issues.
  • Develop solutions across multiple ServiceNow products based on stakeholder needs.
  • Understand technical architecture and produce software and automated tests according to established standards.
  • Investigate and resolve troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance for deployed products.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced software engineers.
  • Stay current with emerging software technologies and best practices, sharing knowledge within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
  • Design, code, test, and document ServiceNow scripts, workflows, triggers, and actions per specifications to achieve high-quality results.
  • Participate in peer reviews of your work and lead reviews for colleagues.
  • Manage enhancements in ServiceNow to boost business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM and Service Catalog.
  • Expertise in developing and managing Scripted REST APIs for integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Application Development, focusing on custom applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow, using tools like Git is a plus.
  • Strong JavaScript, Glide Scripting, and API Development skills.
  • Excellent analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development tools, including Studio, Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Virtual Agent.
  • Working knowledge of Agile application development practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience; additional combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Certification in ServiceNow system administration and/or application development (CSA, CAD) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Micro or Implementation Certifications.
  • Agile Certifications.

Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $99,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year, depending on location and the candidate's skills and experience. Additional compensation may include an incentive program.

Benefits: The Company offers employees flexible paid vacation, seven paid holidays annually, up to 160 hours of paid wellness time, and additional paid leave options.
