A ServiceNow Staff Software Engineer plays a critical role in the success of our organization by providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and delivery of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. We are seeking an experienced professional who can collaborate with a global team to scope and design solutions for documented business and technical needs.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT service management solutions and experience working with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS. They will apply sound architectural and design principles to devise innovative, reusable, reliable, and secure solutions to meet complex business requirements.
This role involves performing architecture, design, development, and configuration of various areas on the ServiceNow platform, including Service Portal, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release/SDLC, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Project, Timecards, Mobility, Reporting & Performance Analytics.
Key responsibilities include designing technical solutions to address complex requirements, evaluating alternate solutions, identifying the best option, and implementing the solution. The candidate will also formulate and implement a quality assurance strategy, create and execute automated test scripts using ServiceNow's Automated Test Framework (ATF), and lead design and code walkthroughs.
