Job Title: ServiceNow Application Developer – HRSD & REST Integrations

Location: Onsite – Austin, TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Application Developer with hands-on expertise in the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module and REST-based integrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions tailored to HR functions and integrations with third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform, particularly in the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) space.
• Design and implement REST API integrations with third-party applications and internal systems.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions within ServiceNow.
• Create and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and other platform configurations.
• Participate in system design sessions and work with architects to ensure scalable, reliable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the ServiceNow platform.
• Stay updated with ServiceNow best practices and upcoming features, especially related to HRSD and integration capabilities.
• Provide documentation and training to end-users and support teams as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on the HRSD module.
• Proven experience with RESTful web services and building REST-based integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and platform capabilities.
• Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Familiarity with data transformation and mapping techniques used in integrations.
• Knowledge of access controls, security, and performance tuning in ServiceNow.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow HRSD Implementation Specialist certification.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Exposure to other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM) is a plus.
