Custom Application Developer - ServiceNow

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team at PEO STRI in Orlando, FL.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and developing ServiceNow solutions, as well as integrating with other platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires a strong background in application development, a solid understanding of ITSM/ITOM processes, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement custom ServiceNow applications and modules, including ITSM, HAM, CMDB, and SPM.
• Configure and script client-side and server-side components, such as: Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions Business Rules, Script Includes, GlideAjax
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
• Configure outbound REST APIs, OAuth integrations, and manage ACLs, roles, and group access.
• Collaborate with network, server, and application teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of ServiceNow solutions.
• Support ServiceNow updates, patches, and releases while maintaining platform stability and performance.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and UI pages within ServiceNow.
• Maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, configurations, and solution designs.
• Apply STIG and other security guidelines to ensure application compliance with federal standards.
• Provide input and adhere to coding standards, best practices, and architectural design principles.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the product backlog and sprint planning.
• Support Power Platform integration efforts: Work with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI when needed to support broader automation and reporting requirements.
