Senior ServiceNow Developer with SECRET

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with a SECRET Clearance to join our established team supporting our federal client in Washington, DC.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an agile team that supports the modernization of the Department of State's cloud-based ServiceNow Platform using Scrum methodology and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) release methodology.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in planning, implementation, and administration of all aspects of ServiceNow in an enterprise-class environment. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong understanding of detail, and superior maturity, professionalism, and judgment.

• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Technical knowledge and responsibility for all phases of application systems analysis and programming.
• Understands the business or function for which the application is designed.
• Adept at developing front-end portal, back-end console development.
• Experience with programming languages and databases, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, supporting libraries, and JSON.
• Experience building and supporting scoped applications.
• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
• Prepares detailed specifications for programs.
• Responsible for the maintenance of licenses and certificates across the ServiceNow platform.
• Experienced with Change and Release Management processes.

The right candidate for this role will reside within commuting distance of the DC MD VA area. While this is a remote role, meetings onsite may require your presence, no more than 20% of your time.

Security Clearance Required: Secret Security Clearance

Certifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
• Active Certified Application Developer

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of development experience with an active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
• 2+ years of CMDB, Custom App Development, and ITSM experience
• US citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements
• Must have active Secret Clearance
• MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S)

Preferred Skills:

• Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)
• Administration of a ServiceNow instance, including the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items.
• Orchestration and Discovery experience a plus.
• ServiceNow Developer Certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting ServiceNow instance upgrades.
• Certified in two or more additional mainline certifications, with preference for CIS - Discover and CIS - Service Mapping.

Pay Range:

$98,124.00 - $166,810.00
