ServiceNow System Administrator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow System Administrator to oversee the management, configuration, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform. This role requires hands-on experience in system administration, workflow automation, and troubleshooting within ServiceNow.

This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, ensure platform stability, and support business operations. A key aspect of this job is maintaining an active Top Secret clearance or TS/SCI.

Certification Requirements:

• Certified Implementation Specialist certification required.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, including user management, configuration, upgrades, and security settings. Additionally, they will configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps based on business requirements.

The successful candidate will develop and manage Service Catalog, Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts to streamline processes. They will also perform system troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis to ensure platform stability.

Furthermore, they will support ServiceNow upgrades and patching, including regression testing and integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications using APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and MID Servers.

In addition, they will enforce best practices and governance for ServiceNow development and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for stakeholders.

The selected individual will work closely with IT teams, process owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and improve workflows. Lastly, they will stay updated on ServiceNow releases and features, recommending enhancements where applicable.
