Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Systems Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and building integrations with various systems, developing code per best practices of ServiceNow, and ensuring the platform adheres to corporate Security Policy as well as ISO 27001/2 requirements.
About the Role As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play an important technical lead within the Service Management Systems (SMS) team. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining ServiceNow patches, learning the corporate ITSM processes to address Change Requests, Incidents, Problems, etc., and mentoring the technical resources within the SMS team.
Responsibilities
- Design and build integrations with various systems (especially using Integration Hub).
- Develop code per best practices of ServiceNow for enhancements.
- Ensure the platform adheres to corporate Security Policy as well as ISO 27001/2 requirements.
- Install and maintain ServiceNow patches up to date.
- Learn the corporate ITSM processes to address Change Requests, Incidents, Problems, etc.
- Manage the users, groups, and their specific access to the system.
- Mentor the technical resources within the SMS team.
- Monitor the MID Servers to ensure adequate uptime and accurate data.
- Plan and upgrade ServiceNow twice annually.
- Support the ServiceNow platform as the most senior technical lead.
- Utilize the Agile Development application for code development.
- Work as a team with the Service Management Systems team and stakeholders.
- Must be able to take a project and work independently.
