ServiceNow GRC Module Owner (Product Owner)

Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned ServiceNow GRC Module Owner / Product Owner to lead the implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of ServiceNow’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) / Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, hands-on configuration experience, and agile delivery skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform supports enterprise risk and compliance initiatives at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner for ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules, owning roadmap, backlog, feature delivery, and stakeholder alignment
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, audit, and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable, user-centric solutions
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of GRC module implementations and enhancements
• Define and prioritize user stories, set acceptance criteria, and drive sprint planning and reviews
• Work with ServiceNow developers and architects to ensure best practices in design and performance
• Track module adoption, usage, and performance to identify opportunities for optimization
• Ensure alignment with organizational risk policies, regulatory standards, and internal audit requirements

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience working in the ServiceNow ecosystem, with deep expertise in GRC/IRM modules
• Strong background as a Product Owner, Module Owner, or Lead Consultant in ServiceNow environments
• Proven success leading end-to-end ServiceNow module implementations
• ServiceNow certifications preferred (e.g., CSA, CIS–GRC)
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint execution, and backlog management
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills
• Must be local to New York City and able to attend onsite meetings 1–2 times per month

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, or similar enterprise standards
• Exposure to adjacent ServiceNow modules like Security Operations, Vendor Risk, or ITSM
• Experience supporting enterprise risk management, policy management, or audit workflows
