Job Title: ServiceNow Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Application Developer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing, administering, maintaining, configuring, testing, supporting, and implementing solutions to support ongoing business needs within our ServiceNow environment.

This includes deploying new releases and/or enhancements, performing systems testing, maintaining and supporting operational functions, monitoring usage, and performing daily administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: You will apply technical knowledge to operate and administer infrastructure or software platforms and user groups.
• Complex Issue Resolution: You will independently resolve highly complex technical issues within a given technical area.
• Team Collaboration: You will partner with members of a given team or other IT teams as appropriate.
• Application Implementation: You will implement end-user or enterprise infrastructure/application/services of moderate complexity as prepared by more senior technologists in support of more complex solutions.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: You will proactively search for issues and provide solutions to prevent problems from occurring in your area of responsibility, including patch management.
• Change Verification: You will independently review, implement, and verify highly complex and high-risk changes and solutions.
• Configuration Database Management: You will ensure entries for the configuration management database are complete and accurate.
• Application Integration: You will build and configure application integrations between enterprise applications or infrastructure.
• Custom Code Development: You will design, develop, test, and deploy application-specific code.
• Quality Assurance: You will support quality assurance by following code standards, design principles, and source code analysis tools through to the use of continuous integration, automated unit testing, deployment automation, and code tools. Requirements:
• Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required; a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate is also required.
• Experience: 2-4 years of Application Development and/or Software Development experience; 1+ years of experience using Java, JavaScript, and open-source frameworks to facilitate the creation of complex, database-driven solutions; 2 years minimum of ServiceNow experience.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of scripting and/or programming languages such as Javascript, C++, HTML, and CSS; SOAP/REST integrations; strong knowledge of implementation, problem analysis, and solutioning of infrastructure and business application environments.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills are required; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; experience working in a structured, process-driven environment; high level of initiative and integrity; possess creative ability, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility, and self-confidence. Preferred Experience:
• Education: A ServiceNow Certified Developer and/or Administrator certification.
• Experience: 4+ years of ServiceNow experience.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of ServiceNow development and workflows for ITSM, CM, and EM.
• Skills: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
