Job Summary
This position is responsible for implementing ITOM requirements for a new ServiceNow implementation. Key responsibilities include supporting the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated processes and workflows for ITOM applications: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, and Cloud Management.
The ideal candidate will have experience with implementation across multiple environments such as Windows, UNIX, and SNMP devices. They will also configure integrations with other data sources and Cloud Discovery, and identify how discovery and integrations populate the CMDB.
In addition, the successful candidate will interface with customer team members to capture business requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions. They will also support Service Mapping efforts through scripting and discovery, and contribute to CSDM efforts.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated processes and workflows for ITOM applications
- Automate processes and workflows for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data
- Configure and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery MID servers, patterns, sensors, probes, Discovery IP ranges, and schedules
- Interface with customer team members to capture business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Support Service Mapping efforts through scripting and discovery
- Contribute to CSDM efforts
- Configure ITOM dashboards
- Create requested client reports Requirements:
- Experience with ServiceNow ITAM (IT Asset Management) and ITOM applications
- Strong understanding of automated processes and workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with implementation across multiple environments
