About the Role "> ">

  • This role requires a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow developer who can design, configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow applications to meet specific client business requirements.">
  • The successful candidate will work closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to understand and document business outcomes and functional requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solution designs.">
  • The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions to align with designed requirements and ensure solutions meet industry best practices.">
  • The role involves technical implementation, data migration, integration management, technical documentation, testing and quality assurance, user training, change management, incident and problem resolution, security and compliance, and continuous learning.">
  • A strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices is essential, along with hands-on experience configuring or building 5 or more ServiceNow applications.">
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including workflow configuration, business rule development, and UI customization.">
  • In addition, the developer should have strong scripting skills in JavaScript and GlideScript, as well as an understanding of integration techniques with external systems.">
  • The role also requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal teams professionally."> ">
  • Responsibilities:"> ">
  • Solution Discovery & Design: Work closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to understand and document the business outcomes and functional requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solution designs.">
  • Technical Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions to align with the designed requirements and ensure solutions meet industry best practices.">
  • Data Migration: Support data migration design and activities from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency during the transition.">
  • Integration Management: Assist architects and senior developers in the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless end-to-end processes.">
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, data schemas, and other technical decisions for future reference.">
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations to validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience.">
  • User Training: Support end-user training to ensure a smooth adoption of the implemented solution.">
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts by assisting senior developers, architects, and users during the transition period.">
  • Incident and Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.">
  • Security and Compliance: Adhere to security best practices and ensure that implemented solutions meet relevant compliance requirements.">
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices to enhance the quality of implementations and maintain expertise in the platform."> ">

Requirements "> ">

  • US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).">
  • Current DHS Public Trust.">
  • MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.).">
  • 1+ year experience scripting beyond basic ServiceNow scripts.">
  • 6+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions.">
  • Certified in one or more additional mainline certifications.">
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.">
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript and GlideScript.">
  • Experience in customizing UI and creating complex workflows.">
  • An understanding of integration techniques with external systems.">
  • Excellent technical skills, including workflow configuration, business rule development, and UI customization.">
  • Hands-on experience configuring or building 5 or more ServiceNow applications.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.">
