Sr. ServiceNow Developer - CMDB & ITOM Expert

This is a senior level position for an experienced ServiceNow developer with expertise in CMDB and ITOM. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow applications, data model, reconciliation rules, and identification rules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations with a focus on CMDB and ITOM.
• Lead ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping implementations to ensure accurate CI data population.
• Configure and optimize CMDB data model, reconciliation rules, and identification rules.
• Integrate third-party monitoring and management tools into ServiceNow ITOM.
• Create and maintain automation workflows using ServiceNow Orchestration.
• Work closely with ServiceNow architects, system admins, and other developers to ensure best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB accuracy and ITOM workflows.
• Conduct impact analysis and collaborate with change management to ensure stability.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow.
• Proven expertise in CMDB design, data model, reconciliation, and data integrity.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration.
• Deep understanding of CI relationships, MID server configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Solid background in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, etc.).
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certified in ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – CMDB / ITOM (preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
