ServiceNow Application Developer

ServiceNow Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow developer to join our team. This position involves implementing new forms, workflows, flows, and scripting to create a functional process for customers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the ServiceNow platform, which supports IT service management to automate business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, develop, troubleshoot, and implement baseline and custom applications to enhance the platform.
• Deliver form/workflow/flow/scripting implementation, development testing, and perform code reviews on work done by other developers.

Requirements:

• Advanced understanding of object-oriented JavaScript.
• Experience with ITIL, Service Management, scripting, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of Discovery and CMDB, including best practices for managing and scaling the CMDB.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult on key technical decisions during design and implementation.
• Strong organizational skills and understanding of the Project Management lifecycle.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in ServiceNow app development and experience with areas such as: Service Portal, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and CMDB.
• Expert-level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities.
• US citizenship is required and able to obtain federal security clearance.
