• *Job Title:** IT Service Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Management Specialist with expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery module. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery, building integrations, and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the CMDB.

• The role involves designing, developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow modules, especially CMDB and Discovery.
• You will implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate and timely asset data population in the CMDB.
• Maintenance of CI data quality is crucial, which includes creating and updating identification rules, reconciliation rules, and business services mapping.
• You will develop and maintain MID Servers, credentials, and probes for successful Discovery scans.
• Building and enhancing integrations between ServiceNow and external systems for automated data population is also essential.
• Collaboration with ITSM, ITOM, and Security teams to support CMDB-dependent functionalities is required.
• Troubleshooting Discovery and CMDB issues, analyzing logs, and resolving data inconsistencies is an important part of this role.
• You will develop scripts, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies for improved automation and data integrity.
• Regular audits and data quality checks for the CMDB are necessary to ensure its accuracy.
• Participation in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support release planning and execution is expected.
