ServiceNow ITSM Developer

We are seeking an experienced developer to design and implement technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. About the Role

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and experience in developing and administering technical solutions to meet business needs.

This includes applying innovative technology to business processes, developing new solutions, and troubleshooting issues.

Collaboration with process leaders is essential to develop appropriate technical solutions in ServiceNow, as well as communicating technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and administering technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Configuring robust solutions utilizing the ServiceNow platform while making informed recommendations to process users
  • Applying innovative technology to business processes to develop new solutions and troubleshoot issues
  • Consulting with Process Leaders to develop appropriate technical solutions in ServiceNow
  • Communicating technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and administering technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, XML, HTML, and CSS
  • Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP Query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases, and AD respectively
  • Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
  • Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Skills Overview: CMDB, End-to-end set up of CMDB & Asset Management, Event Management, Service Mapping, Configuration of UI policy, UI Action, Business Rules, Transform Maps, Identification & Reconciliation Engine, Discovery, Phases of Discovery, Concept of Sensor, probe and Pattern, Debugging/modification of Pattern, Troubleshooting of discovery, IRE engines, Web based development languages: JavaScript, Strong customer service, Excellent verbal/written communication, Excellent attention to details, Ability to multitask, Effective time management skills, Understand full application lifecycle, CSA, CMDB & Discovery mainline certifications, Past work experience on CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery, Asset Management, Integrations, Experience in Client Facing Communications (Oral, Written) Venue
