Advanced ServiceNow Developer - CMDB and ITOM

Senior ServiceNow Developer Needed

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team and take on complex projects involving ServiceNow module development, CMDB and ITOM implementation, integration, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CMDB and ITOM, including ServiceNow ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration. Key Responsibilities:

• ServiceNow Module Development
• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations, focusing on CMDB and ITOM.
• Create and maintain automation workflows using ServiceNow Orchestration.
• CMDB and ITOM Implementation
• Lead ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping implementations to ensure accurate CI data population.
• Configure and optimize CMDB data model, reconciliation rules, and identification rules.
• Integration and Troubleshooting
• Integrate third-party monitoring and management tools into ServiceNow ITOM.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB accuracy and ITOM workflows.
• Leadership and Collaboration
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow.
• Proven expertise in CMDB design, data model, reconciliation, and data integrity.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration.
• Deep understanding of CI relationships, MID server configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Solid background in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, etc.).
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certified in ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – CMDB / ITOM (preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
