Job Overview:

As a seasoned ServiceNow expert, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the ServiceNow CSDM framework and CMDB. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of IT service management processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure the ServiceNow CSDM framework to meet business requirements.
  • Customize the CMDB to accurately reflect the IT environment and its components.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration with the CSDM and CMDB.
  • Implement CI classes, attributes, and relationships based on industry best practices and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Provide guidance and training to IT staff on CSDM and CMDB concepts and best practices.
  • Work closely with ServiceNow administrators and developers to integrate the CSDM and CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and applications.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and new features and recommend enhancements to optimize the CSDM and CMDB.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve IT service delivery and support organizational objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Service Mapping or Asset Management preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB solutions.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform configuration, including workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices, ITIL certification
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with data modelling, schema design, and relational databases is desirable.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies are advantageous
