Job Title: ServiceNow Developer About the Role:

This role involves working as a key member of our team to drive ServiceNow implementation and customization efforts. The successful candidate will have expertise in managing and enhancing the ServiceNow environment, as well as experience in Agile software development. Main Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration and Maintenance:

Ensure the smooth operation of the ServiceNow environment by configuring and maintaining instances, performing routine upgrades, and implementing performance tuning measures.

  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot any complex issues that arise.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings in accordance with federal cybersecurity protocols.
  • Custom Workflow Development:

Develop custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies to meet the specific needs of our federal customers.

  • Use ServiceNow scripting expertise to design, develop, and optimize these custom solutions.
  • Implement and configure integrations with other critical enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Agile Project Management:

Lead Agile project teams to create detailed, actionable user stories and ensure they are aligned with operational needs and federal regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language for diverse audiences.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development, preferably in a federal or similarly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, including user story creation, backlog management, and sprint planning.
  • Technical skills include proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting, as well as familiarity with REST/SOAP web services and integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices related to IT Service Management is also essential.
  • Certifications in ServiceNow System Administration and Application Development are required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with federal IT security frameworks, compliance requirements, and audit procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a high-stakes, regulated environment.
