Technical Solutions Engineer Job Description
As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all solutions meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement automated discovery & data federation from multiple data sources into the ServiceNow CMDB, aligning with Enterprise Architecture
- Develop technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they meet client needs and ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB best practices
- Lead customization and configuration of Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB to automate incident creation based on alerts and optimize infrastructure visibility and management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions that meet designed requirements and industry best practices
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology
- 2 or more years of Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator & Certified ServiceNow Developer
- 7+ years' experience in IT, software development, or ServiceNow
- 3+ years of experience in CMDB
