• Gathering and documenting functional requirements, as well as developing technical requirements are essential for this position.
• The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of ServiceNow functionality and how all ITIL processes can be implemented in ServiceNow. This includes Incident Management, Case Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Catalog Management.
• Must be able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team.
• This role will join a collaborative environment with a cooperative approach by each person.
• The ideal candidate will have worked in the Cloud industry and be comfortable embracing DevOps and Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) principles. Key Responsibilities
• A strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM V3 processes is required.
• A knowledge of .NET, C# and programming proficiency in JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET are necessary.
• An understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform including ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, Custom Development, etc.
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• An understanding of HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and third-party controls.
• Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Creating integrations with 3rd party and internal tools.
• Ability to drive progress independently as well as problem-solve collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Use technical and business acumen to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Requirements
• 4+ years ServiceNow experience is required.
• This role requires someone more on the developer side than admin.
• Additional skills include:
