Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect with deep technical expertise and hands-on experience in the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, lead solution design, provide development support, and engage with clients as a leader.
This role reports to a Manager and can be based either at home or in the office. This role may require occasional travel both nationally and internationally (max 30%).

Key Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Technical Architect is responsible for:
- Establishing strong client relationships by effectively communicating technical solutions and recommendations.
- Leading workshops to guide clients through solution design and implementation processes.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to design comprehensive solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
- Providing technical support and guidance to the development team, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshooting complex issues on the ServiceNow platform, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Offering strategic recommendations that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Engaging in story grooming sessions, refining requirements, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conducting platform application assessments and CMDB/CSDM assessments.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow.
- 5+ years of experience with common web technologies and networking (e.g. XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.).
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- ServiceNow Implementation and Assessment experience in two or more applications preferred.
- Additionalexperience in IT or Software Asset Management.
- Industry-leading knowledge of the ITAM and Software lifecycle.
Required Skills
You should possess:
- Certifications in three or more ServiceNow areas are strongly recommended.
- Proven ability to lead workshops and guide clients through solution design processes.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience troubleshooting complex issues and implementing effective solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Ability to make informed recommendations and decisions on solutions that align with best practices and client needs.
- Experience with story grooming and collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Detailed knowledge of ITIL methodologies, IT architecture, JavaScript, and web software design principles.
- Experience with common web technologies and networking (XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP).
- Directory service integration experience (Active Directory, LDAP).
- Knowledge of Single Sign-on methods (token, SAML 1.1, SAML 2.0) and Web Services integrations (SOAP, REST).
Certifications Required
ServiceNow CIS, CTA, and CAD certifications are preferred.
Travel Requirements
This role may require occasional travel both nationally and internationally (max 30%) and extended hours to complete special projects.
