ServiceNow Development Expert
We are seeking an expert ServiceNow developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and automation. Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ServiceNow solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM or other enterprise modules to suit our requirements.
- Develop and optimize ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and Webhooks.
Implement and enhance ServiceNow CMDB to ensure accurate and automated data management.
- Create custom scripts using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, UI Policies, ACLs, and UI Actions.
Configure and manage ServiceNow catalog, self-service portals, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex ServiceNow incidents, performance issues, and platform defects. Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Design and implement orchestration workflows and automation solutions to optimize business processes.
Implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI-driven workflows within ServiceNow.
- Optimize ITSM workflows and implement best practices to improve service efficiency.
Develop governance models and platform optimization strategies for enterprise-wide ServiceNow adoption. Security, Compliance & Best Practices
- Implement ServiceNow security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and compliance.
Manage ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and instance cloning to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement SecOps and governance policies within ServiceNow. Technical Leadership & Support
- Act as an SME and escalation point for complex ServiceNow issues.
Work with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow capabilities with business needs.
- Provide technical workshops, training, and documentation for junior developers and IT teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP API, and ServiceNow Scripting.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, SecOps, and automation workflows.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations (LDAP, SSO, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, AWS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Orchestration, Flow Designer, and Workflow Automation.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboarding.
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex troubleshooting and debugging experience.
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, and instance management.
