Service Management - ServiceNow CSDM Models and Mapping Note: This position does not offer sponsorship. Role Overview: Focuses on infrastructure-side ServiceNow administration, with key responsibilities in service mapping, managing the CMDB CSDM model, discovery, and related ITSM processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage and populate the ServiceNow CMDB CSDM model and discovery processes. Utilize automation to create maps and models independently, without relying solely on service mapping tools. Design and implement enhancements for the maturity of the CMDB and related processes. Ensure data integrity and governance within the CMDB. Collaborate across teams to support IT infrastructure topology, cloud inventory, and ITSM modules such as change, incident, and problem management. Monitor CMDB health, perform audits, and generate KPIs and reports. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience with Configuration Management, CMDB, Automated Discovery, and process improvement within ITSM tools like ServiceNow. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT infrastructure components. Experience working with cloud inventory management and cross-functional collaboration. Technical Skills: Preferred experience with ServiceNow. Deep knowledge of CMDB/CMS data models and ITIL, COBIT5 frameworks. Familiarity with networking, servers, scripting, and databases. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; excellent communication skills. Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field. ITIL Foundation+ certification. Salary: $127k to $155k plus 15% bonus Location: Chicago, IL (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
