STC – Senior Technical Consultant Full Time JobOverview: Summary of Position The primary role of the SeniorTechnical Consultant is to work closely with Customers tounderstand and translate their business and technical requirements,propose solutions to business problems and lead the technicaldelivery of the chosen solution. If you have a strong and provenbackground in Service Management technical delivery in one or moreof the following areas, we want to hear from you. What will makeyou successful/or "Your X Factor": - Primary focus area: ServiceNowITSM and ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)- Other focus areas: HP Service Manager, BMC/Remedy, SaaSSolutions, Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services,etc.).
- Preparing and running functional design workshopsincluding the creation of design specifications based onout-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements.
- Fullcustomer engagement around the technical solution includingchallenging and validating the customer requirements with regardsto "needs" versus "wants". Working with the Client this requiresthought leadership in transforming "solutionised" requirements totrue business outcomes - Working with the Pre-Sales and TechnicalArchitecture functions to support, validate and help deliver clientpresentations, workshops and responses to technical and businessenquiries - Proven hands-on technical delivery (includingdevelopment, testing and implementation) of cost-effectiveServiceNow solutions using a number of technical skills such asHTML, XML, JavaScript/AJAX, Integrations (web services, SOAP,email, MID, etc) Your Expertise: Years of Experience Hands-ondesign, development, and deployment experience with theService-now.com platform for 3 years. Minimum Required Skills -Experience in providing creative solutions to business problems andworking with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes, metrics, andkey performance indicators - Must have solid understanding andexperience in using several web technologies such as HTML, CSS,XML, JavaScript/AJAX and developing integrations with theServiceNow platform using web services, SOAP, email, MID, plugins -Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and othersuch technologies.
- Has proven leadership experience in managingsmall teams and projects - Ability to produce documentation onvarious levels including technical and customer facing PreferredSkills ServiceNow knowledge of the following products is a MUST: -HRSD (Human Resource Service Delivery) - ITOM (IT OperationsManagement) - ITSM (IT Service Management) - ITOM (IT AssetManagement) Certifications: - ITIL v2 or V3 Foundations - CSA -ITSM Location: Mexico (any state) [home office] Language: Englishfluent
