Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, automation, and integrations with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow Development & Customization: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and automation. Customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or other enterprise modules.
  • Integrations: Develop and optimize ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, APIs, Webhooks).
  • CMDB: Implement and enhance ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and automation.
  • Custom Scripts: Develop custom scripts (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, UI Policies, ACLs, and UI Actions).
  • Catalog Management: Configure and manage ServiceNow catalog, self-service portals, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve L3+ ServiceNow incidents, performance issues, and platform defects.

Automation & Workflow Optimization

  • Orchestration Workflows: Develop orchestration workflows and automation solutions to optimize business processes.
  • RPA & AI-driven Workflows: Implement RPA and AI-driven workflows within ServiceNow.
  • ITSM Workflows: Optimize ITSM workflows and implement best practices to improve service efficiency.

Security, Compliance & Best Practices

  • Security Best Practices: Ensure ServiceNow security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and compliance.
  • Upgrades & Patching: Manage ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and instance cloning while minimizing downtime.

Technical Leadership & Support

  • SME & Escalation Point: Act as an SME and escalation point for L3+ ServiceNow issues.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, and Business Analysts, to align ServiceNow capabilities with business needs.
  • Training & Documentation: Conduct technical workshops, training, and documentation for junior developers and IT teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Expertise: Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP API, and ServiceNow Scripting.
  • Knowledge: Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, SecOps, and automation workflows.
  • Integrations: Experience with ServiceNow integrations (LDAP, SSO, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, AWS, etc.).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with L3+ troubleshooting and debugging experience.

Required Skills

  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, automation, and integrations
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP API, and ServiceNow Scripting
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (LDAP, SSO, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, AWS, etc.)
