System Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow System Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including advanced configuration, upgrades, and technical support escalations.

About the Role:

  • This is a critical position that requires expertise in ServiceNow administration, architecture, and development.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices for service management.
  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and resolve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the ServiceNow platform, including advanced administration, upgrades, platform operations, application development, maintenance, and technical support escalations.
  • Day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, working with teams to develop solutions and resolve support issues.
  • Develops clear and concise technical and process documentation.
  • Maintains technical knowledge on current and future ServiceNow features and functionality to drive platform expansion and adoption.
  • Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters in ServiceNow.
  • Provides training to various stakeholders to aid in the adoption of the platform and reduction of incident and requests.
  • Develops and uses advanced scripting skills when necessary, using best practices.
  • Implement and maintain integrations using Web Services, JDBC, middleware.
  • Develops and collaborates as part of an Agile team.
  • Tests, documents, and deploys high-quality solutions with the ServiceNow platform based on industry best practices that meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or administration of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, ITSM, CSM, Asset Management, Release Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Self-service Portal.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification is required.
  • Expertise with technical ServiceNow components such as: business rules, client scripts, UI policies, actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, reports, etc.
  • Proficiency with SQL Query, HTML, XML, Java Script, Jelly, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular JS.
  • Experience and understanding of best practices with the ServiceNow Platform, Production Operations, Change Control, and Security.
  • Experience creating and managing technical documentation.
  • Ongoing onsite presence in any office location (2-3 times per week) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Implementer Certifications, such as ITSM, SPM, or CSM.
  • ITIL certification.
