ServiceNow Solution Architect Lead

The ServiceNow Solution Architect Lead will oversee a team of solution architects focused on delivering ServiceNow-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities and best practices, as well as experience in leading technical teams. In this position, you will work closely with partners and teams to establish, integrate, and continuously improve best practice processes in ServiceNow. You will also contribute to the ServiceNow roadmap, including onboarding integrations, processes, assets, and other relevant components to ensure a unified ServiceNow platform across the Enterprise.

This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams that design and deliver ServiceNow solutions, driving business outcomes while adhering to security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead a team of solution architects responsible for ensuring that development adheres to platform standards and best practices.
  • Maintain standards and practices for ServiceNow development, within the overall platform model.
  • Evaluate demands against ServiceNow module features, platform capabilities, best practices, and the roadmap.
  • Direct team on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align required diagrams and accommodations to standards, frameworks, and policies.
  • Provide expertise and consultation relating to the platform roadmap for features and capabilities to maximize platform value and build a sustainable platform.
  • Accountable for the development and maintenance of detailed solution architecture documentation, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Provide training and enablement activities to upskill teams on leveraging solution capabilities.

Requirements: A minimum of 12 years of experience in IT architecture, IT Service Management, and/or Cloud computing roles with increasing levels of responsibility. Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform data model, especially as related to shared tables (CMDB, tasks, etc.). Strong technical foundation in the Now Platform, either as an administrator or developer. Knowledge and experience in database design schemas, database modeling, and cloud application technology. Experience leading and managing technical teams and partnering with business stakeholders to define desired outcomes.
