Jr ServiceNow Developer
JOB SUMMARY:
- This role will support the development, configuration, and administration of the ServiceNow platform with a focus on the Service Portal and Fulfillment UI. This role requires a foundational understanding of both client-side and server-side scripting and a strong desire to grow technical skills while adhering to platform best practices and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and support ITSM processes using the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow components including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, flows, and widgets.
- Support quality assurance testing and assist with upgrade validation using tools such as AutomatePro.
- Participate in platform configuration, procurement processes, and lifecycle planning.
- Analyze technical requirements to identify areas for improvement or automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks and incident resolution on the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience (including internships) in technical, consulting, development, or support role.
- Experience with ServiceNow, especially Service Portal or ITSM module preferred.
- Service Desk or IT support experience preferred.
- Experience with REST APIs (inbound/outbound), business rules, UI scripts, and custom widgets.
- Exposure to ServiceNow ITSM core modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Catalog)
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and AngularJS for responsive UI development.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scoped and global application development, including APIs like GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, GlideSystem, and GlideDateTime.
- Ability to support both operational and project-based work, including after-hours support as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Collaborative mindset with a customer-first attitude.
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of AI prompting preferred.
