SERVICENOW IT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Alderson Loop is seeking a skilled ServiceNow IT Operations Manager to join an important project with a diversified media company. The primary focus of this role is to set up IT Operations Management (ITOM) in ServiceNow to efficiently handle alerts, including accepting, de-duplicating, auto-routing, and later establishing an automation factory to address these alerts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup ITOM for Alert Management:
• Configure ServiceNow ITOM to accept alerts currently sent via email.
• Develop and implement rules for de-duplicating alerts to minimize noise and enhance efficiency.
• Define and set up auto-routing rules to ensure alerts are directed to the appropriate queues.
• Automation Factory Establishment:
• Establish an automation factory to streamline the process of addressing alerts.
• Implement automation scripts and workflows to handle recurring alert scenarios efficiently.
• Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
• Continuously monitor and improve the ITOM setup to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Proven track record of setting up and managing alert systems in ServiceNow.
• Experience in defining and implementing de-duplication and auto-routing rules.
• Background in establishing automation processes for IT operations.
• Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow ITOM configuration and best practices.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing automation scripts and workflows within ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize alert management processes.
• Certifications:
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM is a strong plus.
• Additional relevant ServiceNow certifications are a bonus.
