Senior ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining workflows, automated server-/client-side scripts, catalog items, and service portal.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of development experience in ServiceNow, including workflow, service catalog, service portal, scoped applications, and Studio. You should also have proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, ServiceNow APIs, MS SQL Server, and understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Work in an Agile Scrum Squad as a developer
• Develop/maintain/improve workflows, automated/server-/client-side scripts, catalog items and service portal
• Review code and contribute to design discussions
• Participate in all phases of SDLC
• Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing development best practices
• Adhere to application development guidelines
• Understand and implement security guidelines and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors or critical issues
• Demonstrate the features built to the business stakeholders as part of the sprint
• Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming and planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience developing software
• ServiceNow: 2+ years of development experience (Workflow + Service catalog + Service portal + Scoped Applications + Studio)
• JavaScript, AngularJS, ServiceNow APIs, MS SQL Server
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Self-starter, independent with outstanding problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
