The ServiceNow Application Developer collaborates with their team to develop, administer, maintain, configure, test, support, and implement solutions to support ongoing business needs for Bandwidth’s ServiceNow environment. This includes deploying new releases and/or enhancements, performing systems testing, maintaining and supporting the operational functions, monitoring usage, and performing daily administrative tasks. This role works 100% in-office out of our Raleigh HQ. Responsibilities include applying technical knowledge to operate and administer infrastructure or software platforms and user groups, independently resolving some highly complex technical issues, partnering with team members or other IT teams, implementing end user or enterprise infrastructure/application/services of moderate complexity, proactively searching for issues and providing solutions including patch management, independently reviewing and verifying highly complex and high-risk changes and solutions, ensuring configuration management database entries are complete and accurate, building and configuring application integrations between enterprise applications or infrastructure, designing, developing, testing, and deploying application specific code, supporting quality assurance by following code standards, design principles and source code analysis tools, and developing application solutions with compatibility, interoperability, support, deployment, upgrade policies, and end-user environments in mind. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate, 2-4 years of Application Development and/or Software Development experience, 1+ years of experience using Java, JavaScript and open-source frameworks, 2 years minimum of ServiceNow experience, strong knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Javascript, C++, HTML, CSS, SOAP/REST integrations, strong knowledge of implementation, problem analysis and solutioning of infrastructure and business application environments, excellent understanding of technologies, processes, tools and systems including enterprise-scale solutions, strong customer service skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, experience working in a structured, process-driven environment, high level of initiative and integrity, creative ability, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility and self confidence. Bonus points for ServiceNow Certified Developer and/or Administrator, 4+ years of ServiceNow experience, knowledge of ServiceNow development and workflows for ITSM, CM, and EM, and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
