Position Description:

ServiceNow Developers can be located across Canada within proximity of a CGI Office. We are committed to fostering personal and professional growth for talented individuals who join us on this journey.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications in the ServiceNow platform
  • Customize ServiceNow applications, facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, and configure Application UI and Workflow
  • Apply both proven and innovative technology approaches to address challenging business problems
  • Provide technical assessments, create written documentation, and offer technical expertise
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge within the team
  • Provide development effort estimates for planned work activities
  • D deliver quality and consistent service to the customer
  • C coach and develop junior developers on good design practices and development standards
  • Identify sizing, estimates, development, testing, deployment, and knowledge transition processes

Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role:

  • Over 5 years of IT experience
  • Bilingualism French and English is an asset
  • More than 3 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform, specifically in development, configuration, integration, Reports, Notifications, Events, Business rules, Catalog Items, and implementation with advanced platform knowledge
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Certification (an asset)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification (an asset)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent education/work experience
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations and/or migrations
  • Familiarity with web-based and scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, Web Services)
  • Experience integrating third-party software and APIs
  • Agile/Scrum environment experience
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and ITSM concepts
  • Strong leadership skills coupled with robust analytical abilities
