ServiceNow Engineer ???? Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year

At Bowhead / UIC Technical Services we are looking for a JavaScript engineer!

????️ Our tech stack: Active Directory, Cloud, CSS, ITIL, JavaScript, Security, ServiceNow, Office 365

???? Rquirements:

  • Experience with both client-side and server-side scripting in ServiceNow.
  • High school diploma or BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of various ServiceNow components such as GlideAPI/GlideRecords, Service Desk, Change Management, Incident Management, Asset Management, Problem Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, ServiceNow Scripting, and Service Request Management.
  • Proven capabilities as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • Familiarity with diverse operating systems and platforms.
  • Resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism in interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • ITIL and agile experience preferred.
  • 8 years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of the ServiceNow platform.

????‍????????‍???? Your responsibilities are:

  • Gather requirements, design applications, and conduct testing.
  • Develop and manage client scripts (JavaScript), including using GlideAjax calls to server scripts.
  • Develop and manage server scripts (JavaScript / script includes).
  • Create and manage custom widgets along with HTML, CSS, and client/server scripting.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance team dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports.
  • Overhaul and maintain Change Management processes, as well as existing connections between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Establish, maintain, and improve future connections between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Manage forms, reports, views, workflows, groups, and roles.
  • Assist in implementing ServiceNow applications and provide technical insights for designing and supporting ServiceNow while adhering to service management best practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of CMDB, including importing customer data.
  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow system, including workflows.
  • Utilize scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to automate routine tasks.
  • Communicate ServiceNow processes, operations, and capabilities to all levels of management effectively.
  • Carry out ServiceNow implementation tasks, including configuration, integration, and custom programming.
