Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom applications, modules, and plugins on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Build and maintain custom Service Catalog components including catalog items, record producers, and associated workflows.
  • Develop and maintain Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and server/client-side workflows using JavaScript.
  • Customize UI/UX using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive and intuitive interfaces.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Execute and support platform upgrades, patches, and ensure backward compatibility of customizations.
  • Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues including performance bottlenecks and script conflicts.
  • Implement and support core modules: Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations. Additional Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Node.js and Express.js to develop backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Experienced in TypeScript for building scalable, maintainable JavaScript applications.
  • Capable of extending ServiceNow through external microservices or middleware using Node.js/Express.js.
  • Integrate Node.js services with ServiceNow workflows and data layers via APIs.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow Workspace and UI Builder to craft tailored experiences for agents and users.
  • Familiarity with UI Builder features like Data Resources, Page Templates, and Lifecycle Events for developing dynamic, data-driven pages. Qualifications
  • 36+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models and development best practices.
  • Prior experience with integrations using REST/SOAP and scripting across platforms.
  • Solid background in full-stack JavaScript, especially Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team. Preferred Certifications
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation (optional but a plus) About Us
